The modern day spritz - so rumour has it - goes back to the early 19th century when Austrian soldiers added a spritz (spray) of water into the Italian wine (more accustomed as they were to Reisling wines). Over the years the spritz has developed to include bitters and prosecco. Here are our top 3 best recipes.
